Panic has taken over the hometown of Benue State Deputy Speaker of the House of a$$embly as thugs invade the town leaving the clan head’s home in ruins.
Suspected political thugs have leveled the compound of the Chief Paul Amanyi, otherwise known as Easy, to the ground in Ehicho-Ugwu Okpoga in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State.
According to DailyPost, Chief Amanyi is the clan head of the community.
The incident, which happened around 8 pm on Friday, left the man injured. He has since been taken to the hospital.
The affected village also the home town of Hon. James Ejembi Okefe, Deputy Speaker Benue State House of a$$embly.
As at press time, no one has been arrested in connection with the violence.
